Very Bad Day

I got my visa stuff back in the post today, after six months.  And it hasn't even been dealt with, which means more questions and no answers, because of a glitch with the cheque (which I'm annoyed about, as I point-blank asked the international student advisor to tell me how to fill it in, and she didn't catch that anything was missing).  But check out those dates.  Cheque... letter... envelope.  Months in between. 

Now what?!  I have no idea, but I have a feeling I'm f*cked.  Excuse my language, please.
