Yoghurt Berries?

I like the odd stuff I see in nature.  These look like they are made of yoghurt.  Or yogurt, if you're American.  I'm not going to taste them, though. 

Glittery

Today has been a lazy, lazy day.  I just couldn't be bothered with anything.  So I took photos of the glittery flowers in my arrangement from mom.  That's the best I could do today.

Hahahahaha... see what I did there?  Made a play on a short story title, but with my name?  Cos the flowers are for me?  D'ya get it?  Huh?? 

They are from my mum.  So I started to do 'Flowers from EdnaVaughan', but decided I liked it better keeping it 'for', just like the story. 

No, I'm not a literature nerd.  Why do you ask?

For my thesis-submitting party, RitaB brought me flowers.  I've already taken some photos of them, because I can't resist.  Today they just caught my eye again.   

Now, of course, sunflowers will always remind me of the Doctor... and Vincent.  =)

After the Rain...

I had to be on campus for a counselling appointment, and it had been raining on and off all day.  That has it's downsides, of course, but the upside is the gorgeous flowers speckled with drops I saw on my walk to and fro.
