Evening Comes Early

It never ceases to amaze me how quickly the dark creeps in this time of year.  I know, it happens the same every single year, but still.  It always seems so sudden.  Today I was coming home from the cinema at what I thought was a decent time, but still. 

This was well before 6pm.
